ROOT9 was founded in June 2006. So the company is a baby, the team is not. We are rather a mix of teenagers and wise old men. Not literally. Only when it comes to crazy ideas and knowledge. The team has been working together for more than 5 years. So no surprises there.
And the company name? Why ROOT9? Well you know how these things go. It was late in the evening and we were “brainstorming”. Our first choice for a company name was “Dead Chicken United”, but some of us are vegetarian, so we had to go back to roots.
